Common Issues:

I need help to setup my email account.

I have issues sending mails out to my recipients / I encountered a “We do not relay” error message.

POP3 Setup:

During the setting up, kindly disable SSL for both incoming and outgoing mail server.

Click on the round Home button.
Click on the Settings icon.
Click Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Click Add Account...
Choose Other
Click Add Mail Account
Enter your name, email address, password and a description of the account.
Click Next.
Select POP as the account type.

Incoming mail server (POP3):

Host Name: pop.yourdomainname.com
User Name: Enter the full email address of the POP3 account you are accessing.
Password: Enter the password for the POP3 account you are accessing.
Port No.: 110

Outgoing mail server (SMTP):

Host Name: asmtp.yourdomainname.com
User Name: Enter the full email address of the POP3 account you are accessing.
Password: Enter the password for the POP3 account you are accessing.
Port No.: 25 or 366 (Alternative port)

Click Save.

After saving, click on the POP3 account you just created.
Scroll down and click Advanced.
Make sure Authentication is set to Password.
If you want to keep your email messages in your webMail or desktop e-mail application, make sure Delete from server is set to Never.

Do take note that the outgoing server authentication is required to send out emails.
Kindly refer to the below steps to check, verify and/or add the settings;

1. From the Home screen click Settings and then Mail, Contacts, Calendars
2. Select the email account you wanted to modify.
3. Scroll down to Outgoing Mail Server and click SMTP.
4. Click on the Primary Server and make sure the slider is ON.
5. Enter the hostname in this format:
asmtp.example.com
But replace the “example.com” part with your domain name and then:
Enter your username (your FULL email address) and the password you assigned to that account
Change Use SSL to OFF
6. In the Authentication section set it to Password. You may refer to the attached image file as a reference.
7. Set the Server Port to 25 (or 366 if port 25 is blocked by a service provider).

Note – as mentioned toward the top of this article, when you change these server settings may encounter a “Cannot Verify Server Identity” message, sometimes several times in a row, and you may have to click “Continue” each time to move forward.

Depending on your device, you may click a Done button now.

8. Go back to the main Settings page and then get out of the config all-together.

You should now be able to send email from your device since it is now properly SMTP Authenticating.

You may also refer to the link below, use the server settings as described above but do not enable SSL for both incoming and outgoing mail server settings:
